Core components are a primary control valve with a step response time of 55 ms or less, a main actuating cylinder with a 120.5-inch working stroke capable of 13 ft/s linear speed, a Hydraulic Power Unit, and a dedicated filtration and cooling "kidney" loop. Delivery is due 48 weeks from award.

Place of performance is Silver Spring, Maryland 20903, with delivery and acceptance at AEDC Tunnel 9, F.O.B. destination. Contracting Officer Erica A. Anglin at AFTC/PZIA (Arnold), Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, issued the solicitation.

Evaluation uses three factors in descending order of importance. Technical capability is rated acceptable or unacceptable against a Statement of Work covering technical approach, schedule, testing, installation, commissioning, and quality control, and only technically acceptable quotes advance. Award goes to the responsible small business offering the most advantageous quotation.
