About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma is announcing its intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Livingston & Haven for repair of four failed Bosch Rexroth motion drive controllers for the MH60T Operational Flight Trainer, with a capability-statement deadline of August 25, 2026 at 1500 EST. This is designated a Total Small Business set-aside. The Coast Guard has determined that only one source can meet the requirement because the trainer's proprietary Bosch Rexroth drive controllers cannot integrate alternative manufacturer components without compromising system integrity and operational certification. All repair and functional testing will be performed at the OEM-certified Rexroth facility in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The four failed HCS03.1E-W0150-A-05-NNBV drives (which have experienced complete loss of DC power output) must be restored to full operational status with comprehensive diagnosis, repair or replacement of faulty components, and a two-year warranty. Performance period does not exceed 60 calendar days from award. The Government will furnish the defective drives and will receive refurbished units shipped to USCG Aviation Training Center Mobile, Alabama. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, any party believing they can perform the requirement may submit a capability statement to SMB-FORCECOM-049@uscg.mil for consideration; the Government retains sole discretion to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. NAICS 811310; PSC J059.
