About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking to replace the Glowlink Communications Technology carrier monitoring system that supports the Alaskan Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure. The agency will evaluate vendors based on their experience providing similar repair services and time in business. Responses are due by October 17, 2023.

The primary NAICS code is 517410 for Satellite Telecommunications with a size standard of $44 million. Vendors must supply nine Spectrum Monitoring Systems and seven desktop monitoring systems to the ANC and FAI locations. This is a fixed-price contract for maintenance and support of the ASTI system.

FAA anticipates that any resultant Purchase Order will be a Fixed-Price contract.
The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, in particular service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the required items. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms.
