About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command seeks quotes to provide repair and major repair services for TH-57 250-C20 aircraft engines that power the Chief of Naval Air Training's fleet. The contractor shall repair engines within 90 days of induction and return them to original equipment manufacturer specifications in accordance with Rolls-Royce manuals and program management procedures. Quotes will be evaluated based on the lowest price technically acceptable, considering pricing for estimated repair quantities, over and above labor hours and materials, and other contract line items. Quotes are due by August 3, 2020.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The simplified acquisition procedures using the program for certain commercial items, as authorized by FAR Part 13.5, are applicable to this procurement.
