About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State is seeking quotations for the supply and delivery of 27 passenger motor vehicles in Ghana through Solicitation Number 19GH1025Q0007. The procurement includes seven SUVs, thirteen pickup trucks, three vans, two mobile workshop vans, and two fuel trucks, all specified as 2025 model year vehicles from Toyota's product line. Potential vendors must submit electronic quotations by July 7, 2025, at 16:00 GMT to AccraProcurement@State.Gov, with proposals required to be in MS-Word, MS-Excel, or PDF format and limited to 30MB file size. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission and provide comprehensive documentation including SF-1449, pricing details, representations, and certifications. The U.S. Government intends to award the contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest-priced acceptable offer, potentially without further discussions.
The solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category and will be open to all qualified vendors. Vehicles will be delivered to CIF Tema Port in Ghana within four months of contract award, with the total procurement focused on the Greater Accra Region. The contract will be structured as a firm fixed-price arrangement, and no value-added tax will be applicable due to the U.S. Embassy's tax exemption status. Specific vehicle requirements include various Toyota models with detailed specifications for drive type, transmission, engine displacement, and fuel type, ranging from 4X4 SUVs to 29-seat passenger vans. The procurement falls under NAICS Category 33611 (Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing) and PSC Category 2310 (Passenger Motor Vehicles), indicating a standard automotive supply contract for governmental use.
