About this opportunity
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy Office of Science, is soliciting quotes for 12 Supermicro 1U rack-mount server assemblies (model AS-1115HS-TNR) with a quote due date of October 16, 2026. This is a commercial subcontract procurement, not a direct Federal acquisition; SLAC's DOE-approved purchasing system governs the transaction, though certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations apply as required by statute or contract terms.
Place of performance is Menlo Park, California. The specified server configuration comprises one AMD EPYC Turin 9255 CPU, 2×32GB DDR5 ECC memory, one 240GB SATA storage option, one 10GbE 4-port RJ45 network interface or alternate with 2×SFP+ and 2×RJ45, and one Supermicro DCMS license. Quote must include product pricing and lead time only; on-site services are not permitted. Evaluation uses the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Method prioritizing best lead time. Quoters should identify opportunities for Academic, ICPT, GSA, or Government Institution discounts.
Buy American Act Certification applies to awards exceeding $15,000 unit price. Offerors must submit a completed Representations and Certifications Supplement (valid for one year), certify BAA compliance, and provide Harmonized Tariff Schedule code and Export Control Classification Number if applicable, with explicit statement of whether duties or tariffs are included in or excluded from the quoted price. All subcontractors must register in SAM.gov. NAICS code is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing; PSC is AG12. Quote submissions go to Cheryl.stafford@slac.stanford.edu.
