About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard is soliciting proposals to provide sunshade canopy maintenance services at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland in Texas. The contractor will replace fabric on 22 aircraft sun shelters, paint touch-ups, and perform general maintenance and restoration including cleaning, preparation, and application of a zinc-rich coating to all corroded metal sections. The basis for award will be lowest priced technically acceptable offer meeting the requirements set forth in the performance work statement and solicitation. Proposals are due by August 29, 2023.
The requirement is set aside for total small business and utilizes NAICS code 332311 for prefabricated metal building manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The single award firm fixed price contract will provide maintenance services within 90 days of award notice at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas and includes replacement of fabric for 22 sunshade structures and preventative maintenance and repair coating services.
