The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 seeks sterile processing water testing, maintenance, and repair services across four San Antonio and Kerrville facilities, with proposals due June 10, 2026 following amendment extension. Place of performance includes Audie Murphy SPS and Dental SPS/Datapoint in San Antonio, Northwest Healthcare Center SPS in San Antonio, and Kerrville SPS in Kerrville, Texas. The contractor must provide monthly water quality testing, quarterly reverse osmosis system sanitization and membrane replacement, quarterly distribution loop sanitization using ozone, quarterly filter replacements including endoscopy filters, and annual UV filter replacement, all in compliance with ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 standards. The contractor must install and maintain continuous in-line monitoring devices for pH, conductivity, and flow meters; install tank capacity alarms; maintain a fully qualified laboratory for sample processing; and provide immediate notification when results exceed bacterial and endotoxin thresholds. All contractor personnel require negative tuberculosis screening within 90 days of assignment and VA identification badges. The contractor must maintain 24/7 availability and respond within 24 hours to service requests.
The period of performance runs June 30, 2026 through June 29, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals through June 29, 2031. The contract budget is $19 million. Emergency repair services are capped at $140,000 annually. Invoicing occurs monthly via the Tungsten Network with Net 30 payment terms and discount incentives available.
