About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Energy intends to issue a modification to exercise a bridge option under contract SPE600-15-C-5000 for Government-Owned, Contract-Operated fuel management and aircraft refueling services at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, with a response date of August 24, 2026. The procurement is set aside for total small business. The bridge option period runs September 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026 and is structured as a sole-source action under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The original contract was awarded November 28, 2014. The Government states this short-term extension is necessary to prevent a lapse in critical aviation fuel operations and mission support while the follow-on contract action is finalized and transitioned. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by the closing date; the agency reserves the right to conduct a competitive procurement in the future based on responses received, though such a determination is solely within Government discretion.
