About this opportunity
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking proposals to provide personnel, equipment, and facilities for instrument systems engineering and research support for the design, development, analysis, fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and documentation of sophisticated space science instruments and experimental payloads. Key requirements include advanced thermal, mechanism, optical, contamination, and systems engineering activities for space science instruments and payloads in the areas of Geospace Science and Technology, High Energy Space Environment, and Solar and Heliospheric Physics. The contract will be awarded as a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract, and the government will evaluate proposals based on technical approach, management plan, personnel qualifications, and cost.
This is a re-compete effort for the current contract N00173-18-F-6201, which was awarded to SGT Inc. through the OASIS contract vehicle. There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The government anticipates a contract value in the range of $50-100 million over a 5-year period, with the work to be performed in Washington, DC.
