About this opportunity

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the Southwestern Region is conducting market research to identify small business vendors capable of providing Fire Life & Safety System Maintenance, Testing, and Inspection services for the Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (DEN ATCT), Denver TRACON (D01), and the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Air Traffic Control Tower (BJC ATCT). The services required include quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and 5-year inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72 and FAA Order JO 6930.1B. Interested vendors are asked to provide information on their company, point of contact, business classification, and service areas. This is not a guarantee of a contract award, but rather an effort to gauge the availability and capabilities of small business vendors for these specific services.

This opportunity is unrestricted, with no set-aside designation. The FAA did not provide any information on potential incumbent contractors or the expected award value or budget for these services. The agency is simply seeking to identify qualified small business vendors through this market research process, with the goal of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the National Airspace for all aircraft travel.
