About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration is seeking sources for alarm monitoring services at Eagle Point and Roseburg National Cemeteries in Oregon. The contract will cover comprehensive security and fire alarm services including monitoring, maintenance, testing, reporting, repairs, and software upgrades for six buildings across two locations. Specific monitoring requirements involve tracking door readers, keypads, motion detectors, recording devices, door/window contacts, and window breaker detectors using various manufacturer systems such as Notifier, RSG, UPG, Ditek, DSC, and ACTi. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities statement, business name, and Unique Entity Identifier (SAM) number via email to stacey.lewallen@va.gov by December 18, 2024. The contract structure will be a base year with four additional option years, falling under the Security Systems Services NAICS category (561621).
The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate any specific set-aside designations, meaning the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. While no incumbent contractor is named, the contract involves monitoring six total buildings across two national cemeteries with multiple security system manufacturers represented. The specific equipment to be monitored includes various security detection devices across both Eagle Point (five buildings) and Roseburg (one building) locations. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the notice. The contract's timeline suggests a potential five-year total performance period, with an initial base year and four subsequent one-year option periods, providing potential long-term engagement for the selected vendor.
