This is a Request for Information issued under FAR Part 10 to support potential future solicitation set-aside determination. No solicitation currently exists; this notice does not constitute a commitment to issue a contract.
The work encompasses three scope items at the New Inpatient Mental Health Building: installation of two electric backup boilers with piping, pumps, electrical, and concrete work for heating hot water redundancy; furnishing and installation of Inpro Palladium Rigid Vinyl Sheet in Monterey color (or approved equal) in multiple rooms with line-item cost breakdown by room and square footage; and installation of nurse station partition glass consisting of 3/8-inch interior tempered safety glazing, 6-foot height, segmented design with maximum 2-inch posts, 16-inch by 4-inch pass-through, tamper-resistant fasteners, and pickproof sealant, with shop drawings required for contracting officer's representative approval.
Performance period is 210 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Pre-mobilization requirements include negative tuberculosis testing within 90 days, annual influenza vaccination, minimum OSHA 10 certification, and facility badge issuance. Contractor must maintain one-year warranty on all workmanship and materials, provide 24-hour emergency service with two-hour response time, comply with infection control protocols including negative air pressure maintenance, and coordinate operations to minimize disruption to the 24/7 operating facility.
