About this opportunity

The Mt. Hood National Forest is procuring seasonal housing repair supplies for a comprehensive renovation project at the Ripplebrook Compound, focusing on the repair and replacement of exterior windows and doors in residential units and facilities. The Department of Agriculture Forest Service R6-Pacific Northwest Region is seeking building materials including exterior doors (solid wood and aluminum storm doors), windows (vinyl and wood in various sizes and configurations), roofing materials, construction tools, paint, and associated supplies. This procurement supports a collaborative partnership with the Timber Lake Job Corps, where TLJC students will provide labor for the renovation work while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The contract will be structured as a Firm-Fixed Price agreement, with evaluation based on technical capability, past performance, and price, with the government intending to award based on the quote providing the best overall value. Vendors must quote on all items in the comprehensive material schedule, and quotations are due by July 25, 2025 at 1700 EDT, submitted via email to Erika Scofield.

This solicitation is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 444190 (Building Material and Supplies Dealers) with a small business size standard of $22 million. The procurement involves replacing exterior windows and doors in residential units 1038, 1039, 1040, a bunkhouse, and a helibase office at the Ripplebrook Compound. Materials are scheduled for delivery on or around September 15, 2025, to the Timber Lake Job Corps facility located at 59868 E Hwy 224 in Estacada, Oregon, approximately 25 miles southeast of Estacada off Highway 224. The place of performance is Sandy, Oregon, and delivery coordination will be managed through the Contracting Officer's Representative with the Timber Lake Job Corps. Due to manufacturing constraints and supplier variability, materials may arrive independently of each other rather than as a lump sum delivery, allowing for flexibility in the delivery schedule.
