SECTION C- DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS
1. The Mt. Hood National Forest is undertaking a comprehensive renovation project at the Ripplebrook Compound, focusing on the repair and replacement of exterior windows and doors in several residential units and facilities. Specifically, residential units 1038, 1039, and 1040 will have all exterior windows and doors replaced. Additionally, the bunkhouse (unit 1334) and the helibase office (unit 2021) will undergo similar replacements, along with the installation of new roofs on both structures.
In collaboration with the Timber Lake Job Corps (TLJC) based in Ripplebrook, OR, the Forest Service will leverage the skills and labor of TLJC students to execute these renovations. The necessary materials, supplies, and tools for the project will be procured to ensure the successful completion of the identified work. This partnership not only facilitates the improvement of the facilities but also provides valuable hands-on experience for the TLJC students.
