About this opportunity

The Special Notice announces the United States Coast Guard's intent to award a sole source contract to Unicom Government, Inc. for Command Center Display System services at the Sector Command Center in Guam. Unicom Government currently holds an enterprise-wide maintenance and support contract for over 40 Coast Guard CCDS, including the system in Guam.

The sole source award will provide for the de-installation, secure storage, and reinstallation of the CCDS along with management of the current system and integration of new hardware components to phase out end-of-life parts and ensure compliance with cybersecurity mandates. Interested parties may submit capabilities statements by November 21, 2023 to be considered for the award, otherwise the contracting office retains discretion to make the sole source award to Unicom Government as proposed. The justification document cites Unicom's familiarity with the existing system and maintenance contract as the basis for their being the only responsible source capable of performing the required services.
