The Bureau of Reclamation seeks to procure orchard removal and wood chipping services for the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. Contractors will be required to remove all trees, irrigation lines, and stumps from approximately 222 acres across the Lehman and Lopes properties in San Joaquin County, California. Respondents must demonstrate experience providing similar scope and scale of services, and must chip all woody materials onsite. Capability statements are due by December 15th, and the Bureau will evaluate contractors' experience, qualifications, and business classifications.
There is no set-aside for this pre-solicitation, and the applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a size standard of $9.5M. Contractors will have up to 120 days following a firm-fixed price award to complete all tree and stump removal across the two sites. Responses should also indicate whether the business is classified as small, HUBZone, 8(a), veteran-owned, or other socioeconomic category. Questions regarding the specifications are due by December 13th to RaShayla Brown of the Bureau of Reclamation.

This sources sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, it does not constitute as a Request for Quote(RFQ), and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking an interested vendor who can provide orchard removal and wood chipping services needed for the San Joaquin River Restoration Program (SJRRP) as indicated in the attached Specifications (Orchard Removal Wood Chipping Specifications). The resultant purchase order will be issued as a firm-fixed price.
The services must be performed at Lehman Property and Lops Property located in San Joaquin County, CA.
The applicable NAICS Code is 561730 with size standard $9.5M.
Firms interested in being considered for these services should submit a capability statement and provide evidence in sufficient detail that demonstrates the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. Respondents should include previous experience of the same or similar scope, capability level (as a prime or subcontractor), personnel qualifications, and the firm¿s business size status and classification in their response (small business or other than small business, 8(a), HUBZONE, women owned, small-disadvantaged business, veteran owned, etc.)
