About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a sources sought notice for tree removal services on two properties in California. The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking capabilities statements from contractors interested in removing all trees from the Lehman and Lopes properties. Contractors have discretion to remove trees manually or using equipment like chainsaws and chippers. An attachment provides a map of the properties' locations. While this is only a sources sought notice, multiple contractors may work together on the job. The properties were previously orchards. Pricing will be based on acres of tree removal rather than individual trees. No response dates, award dates or other procurement details are provided beyond this being a sources sought notice to identify contractor capabilities.
