Needs Statement: The SJRRP needs to remove the orchards on the Lopes and Lehman properties.

Objective: To remove the trees to prevent unwanted pests on the property and to neighboring land owners, allow for easier maintenance till construction and pre-construction work.

Step 1 is to remove all above ground irrigation lines and disposal of material off site. All access to underground pipes should be capped.

Step 2 is tree removal – Knock down tree and remove stump Step 3 is to chip all woody material (limbs, truck and stump) see picture below.

Step 4 is to put all the chips into pills on the property Step 5 is to smooth ground to remove vehicle obstacles and/or tripping hazards. Remaining tree roots should not be sticking out of the ground and stump holes should be smoothed out so not to cause vehicle obstructions. This can be done by hand or with a small excavator.
