About this opportunity
Air Education and Training Command seeks one Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit for counter-small unmanned aircraft system detection and alerting at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, with proposals due August 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM CST. This is a total small business set-aside with a brand name requirement for the DroneShield system, mandated and explicitly approved by HQ AETC under DAFI31-101_DAFGM2025-01.
Place of performance is Columbus, Mississippi. The system must provide persistent detection, identification, classification, and alerting of small UAS around the base to protect the 14th Flying Training Wing's 260 daily sorties, support base security, and supply actionable situational awareness to the Base Defense Operations Center. The infrastructure must be designed to accommodate future defeat capability additions without core system replacement.
Deliverables include the Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit with Dronegun MK4A, RFPATROL MK2 Wideband, magnetic antenna kit, C2-Tactical rugged belt, C2-Tactical software configuration with annual subscription (Year 2+), RFAI annual subscription (Year 2+), warranty extension (Year 2+, up to 3 years maximum), and on-site Train the Trainer and Basic Operator training. All items must be new OEM products; gray market and refurbished items are not acceptable. Delivery occurs within 45 calendar days of award to 680 Seventh Street, Suite 121, Columbus AFB, with FOB Destination. The contractor performs on-site integration including system configuration, firmware updates, threat library loading, RF baseline mapping, and sensor calibration, followed by Site Acceptance Testing with government representative present. Final government acceptance requires inspection confirming exact specification match and freedom from defects, with government sign-off on SAT completion. NAICS 334511, PSC 5865. The original August 5 deadline was amended to August 6 at 9:00 AM CST. Section 5.0 of the Statement of Work was updated as of July 20, 2026.
