About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the acquisition of drone detection equipment and related services for Columbus Air Force Base.

The government requires one Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit, consisting of tactical equipment, battery, charger, and carrying case, along with one annual software/firmware update license and on-site operator training (Train the Trainer/Basic Operator). All items must be new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products; gray market and refurbished items are not acceptable. The contractor shall deliver all equipment within 45 days after receipt of order (ARO) to 680 Seventh Street, Suite 121, Columbus AFB, MS 39710, with shipping FOB Destination. This is a strict brand name acquisition requiring the Drone Shield Immediate Response Kit specifically, as it was explicitly tested and approved by Air Education and Training Command (AETC) per DAFI31-101_DAFGM2025-01. The acquisition supports the 14th Security Forces Squadron's counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) mission requirements.

The contractor must perform on-site integration services including system configuration, firmware updates, threat library loading, RF baseline mapping, and sensor calibration to minimize false positives specific to Columbus AFB's electromagnetic environment. A Site Acceptance Test (SAT) must be conducted in the presence of a government representative to verify successful power-up, component communication, and detection/defeat capabilities, with final government acceptance occurring only after the representative signs the SAT completion document. The contractor shall provide standard commercial OEM warranty for all hardware commencing on the date of government acceptance and ensure the government receives authorized access to OEM firmware and threat-library updates for the duration of the software license. Final acceptance will occur upon government inspection verifying that delivered items exactly match the requested Drone Shield and are free of physical defects.
