The Health Readiness Contract Office (HRCO) has a requirement from the Force Integration Directorate (FID) under the United States Army Medical Development Activity (USAMMDA) to award field medical Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO) supply acquisition. The general scope of this requirement is to procure SKO components; label, assemble, and package procured components into the approved listed USAMMDA SKO configurations with limited or no deviation, unless expressly concurred by the Government. Army Regulation 40-61 (AR 40-61), Medical Logistics Policies, Chapter 10 Managing Medical Assemblages, lists out Medical, Veterinary, Dental, Optical, Laboratory equipment, Medical materiel, Dental, and Preventive medicine materiel within the SKOs.
