About this opportunity

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking sources for technical services to upgrade microwave communications equipment for the Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) in the Buffalo, NY area. The scope of work includes replacing existing ODU300 radios with ODU600v2 radios, updating firmware on associated microwave equipment, and replacing an INU shelf and associated cards at one of four tower sites. The FAA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation process. Interested vendors are requested to provide a statement of interest, project-specific information, and a rough order of magnitude cost estimate by October 4, 2024.

The FAA may set aside the contract for small business, 8(a), service-disabled veteran-owned, or woman-owned small business concerns based on the responses received. No incumbent contractor is named, and the government has not provided an estimated award value or budget range. The work must meet FAA lightning grounding and bonding shielding specifications, and the contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment and materials.
