About this opportunity
The United States Agency for International Development to Malawi seeks proposals to construct 18 community day secondary schools across four lots in 18 Malawian districts under four firm fixed price contracts totaling approximately 25 months, including 13 months for construction and a 12-month warranty period. Proposals shall address all requirements in the solicitation and remain valid for 120 days, with any questions due by dates specified in Section L and proposals due by the closing date and time also in Section L.
The sites are divided into two groups across the four lots based on geography. Group A consists of two large lots of 19-20 schools each set aside for Malawian firms only. Group B consists of two smaller lots of six schools each conducted under full and open competition procedures pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, but firms must be Malawian. Offerors may bid on one or both Group A lots and one or both Group B lots. USAID intends to award the Group A lots to one or two contractors and the Group B lots to two separate contractors. The place of performance will be across the 18 districts in Malawi.
