About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 9 has cancelled solicitation S214 for carpet cleaning services effective August 7, 2026, due to incomplete information and errors in the Performance Work Statement and solicitation document. A new solicitation will be issued to address all vendor questions previously submitted.

The original scope encompassed carpet cleaning across 19 building locations at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, including Building 160 (4 floors), Buildings 3, 5, 13, 15, 37, 39, 40, 41, and 42 (1–3 floors each), and 9 outbuildings with 6–8 rooms per building, totaling 86 rooms/offices. The contractor must furnish all labor; the government supplies all chemicals and cleaning supplies. Services must be performed during normal facility business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding 11 federally observed holidays. All areas must achieve 100% cleanliness standards and be inspected and approved prior to end of tour, with re-cleaning required at no additional cost for any areas that fail inspection. Contractor personnel must comply with all facility rules, park only in designated areas, and be prepared to interrupt work to avoid interference with facility operations, patient care, utility services, and fire protection systems. In emergencies, services may be stopped and rescheduled at no additional cost to the government.

The NAICS code is 561740, Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Services. Network Contracting Office 9 (located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee) is the contracting office. No set-aside applies. Interested vendors should monitor for the replacement solicitation.
