About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA VHA) is seeking a five-year Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services at three VA healthcare facilities in St. Louis, Missouri. The solicitation requires a comprehensive pest control contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary for surveillance, trapping, pesticide applications, and pest removal. Contractors will also be expected to develop detailed site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to prevent pest infestations at the Jefferson Barracks Division, John Cochran Division, and Hope Recovery Clinic. The solicitation (number 36C25525Q0251) will utilize a tiered set-aside evaluation process, with responses due on April 4, 2025, at 10:00 Central Time. The contract will be awarded through the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 in Leavenworth, Kansas, and is classified under NAICS code 561710 for Exterminating and Pest Control Services.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this contract, suggesting it will be open to all qualified vendors. While no incumbent contractor is mentioned, the contract will cover pest management services across approximately 300,000 square feet of healthcare facility space. The five-year IDIQ structure allows for flexible service delivery and potential contract modifications based on the VA St. Louis Health Care System's evolving pest management needs. The procurement uses Product Service Code S207 for Housekeeping-Insect/Rodent Control, which suggests a comprehensive approach to facility pest management. Although specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the multi-facility scope and five-year contract duration indicate a potentially significant contract value for the selected contractor.
