About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command, through the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, seeks a firm fixed price procurement of modular roller tracks and associated hardware, with proposals due October 9, 2026. This is a 100% total small business set-aside with a 500-employee size standard under NAICS 333922 (Conveyor and Conveying Equipment Manufacturing).

Place of performance is the United States, with F.O.B. destination Newport, Rhode Island and a maximum lead time of 12 weeks after order receipt.

The technical specifications require dual-side retention flanges on both sides of roller tracks with a minimum usable conveyance width of 2.0 inches between opposing flange faces. Modular segment lengths must range between 6.0 and 20.0 feet, with compatible mechanical connectors capable of joining segments into continuous rigid runs up to 200 feet without interruption or structural degradation. Rollers must rotate freely under gravity-feed or hand-push loads with adequate spacing to support continuous flow.

The Government has established four configuration options (A through D). Option A represents optimal density at 5 tracks per 12-inch shelf requiring 6,000 linear feet; Option D represents minimum acceptable density at 2 tracks per shelf requiring 2,400 linear feet. Offerors may submit multiple quotes for different configuration options. Award will be made to the responsible quoter providing best value, evaluated on technical factor (track density and storage capacity, with highest preference for Option A) and cost/price factor (total turnkey cost inclusive of shipping). Quoters must submit electronically to hannah.l.murphy7.civ@us.navy.mil and include point of contact information, CAGE Code, and SAM Unique Entity ID.
