Added: December 13, 2006 The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the San Juan Metropolitan area which includes the municipalities of Bayamon, Guaynabo, Catano, Canovana, Caguas, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Carolina, and Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled Residential Reentry Center, dated August 2000, Revision 10 dated Jul 2006 and locally amended by the Miami Community Corrections Office on October 2006. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 85% male and 15% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 69,445 the two-year base period; 35,405 for option year one; 36,135 for option year two; and 36,966 for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about January 12, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP200-0951-SE will be on or about March 12, 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitation will be accepted.
