About this opportunity
Hill Air Force Base's Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) is requesting information from industry on an anticipated small-business set-aside requirement for integrated Depot Industrial Plant Equipment (DIPE) solutions and engineering services, with responses due by November 24, 2026.
The requirement will support multiple OO-ALC groups with turnkey DIPE systems and subsystems—including test stands, fall protection work stands, paint booths, thermal spray systems, and gap grinders—customized for depot-level aircraft maintenance and capable of withstanding heavy-use environments. Engineering services encompass removal and disposition of existing equipment, facility preparation and modifications, equipment manufacturer coordination, design and analysis, cybersecurity support, DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance, multi-vendor system integration, training coordination, program management, mechanical/electrical/industrial/environmental/corrosion engineering, and logistics management.
Place of performance is Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 (Engineering Services); PSC is R425 (Support—Professional: Engineering/Technical). The Government anticipates competition resulting in a small business set-aside and is assessing vendors' ability to support DIPE solutions and engineering services across multiple groups on an ongoing basis.
The RFI contains eight detailed questions addressing small business status and socioeconomic designations, engineering credentials, cleared employee experience, prior DoD contract performance, equipment procurement and manufacturing capabilities, turnkey integration experience, and financial capability to support significant upfront equipment expenditures. Responses are information only and shall not constitute an offer or proposal. Submit responses to Shawna Dudis (shawna.dudis@us.af.mil) and Travis Dean (travis.dean@us.af.mil).
