About this opportunity

Argonne National Laboratory, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is seeking information from remedial action contractors interested in providing construction services to install a Groundwater Extraction and Treatment System (GETS) at a former USDA site in York, Nebraska. The GETS system will extract and treat groundwater contaminated by carbon tetrachloride and chloroform. Key requirements include drilling extraction and injection wells, installing conveyance piping, a prefabricated treatment plant building, and a SCADA system. Contractors are asked to provide information on their capabilities, availability, cost estimates, and any concerns with the terms and conditions by November 20, 2024. This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and does not commit Argonne to issuing a solicitation or award.

The opportunity is not set aside for any specific business type. There are no details provided on incumbent contractors or potential award values. The project is estimated to take 9-10 months from contract award and is targeted for completion in Fiscal Year 2025.
