About this opportunity
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) intends to solicit a small business set-aside commercial services contract for enterprise helpdesk support under NAICS 541512, with RFI responses due September 30, 2026, and anticipated solicitation release in the first quarter of 2027.
The procurement consolidates five existing Air Force helpdesk contracts (GDSS FHD, CAMPS SOMS, MAFPS FOSSE, SIAOMS, and potentially ESS) into a single vehicle to provide 24/7/365 functional and technical operations support for command and control capabilities spanning legacy applications (GDSS, MEIS, CAMPS, MAFPS) and modernized Rapid Global Mobility system portfolio applications. The support desk will be located at Scott Air Force Base with a globally distributed operational environment including a primary operations center, regional operations divisions within Air Operations Centers worldwide, en-route hubs, and aircrews. Work encompasses approximately 19,000 to 21,000 worldwide users; historical trouble-ticket volume from February through August 2026 totaled 7,736 tickets across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 categories.
All contractor personnel must be United States citizens holding a minimum Secret-level security clearance and maintaining DoDD 8140.01-compliant certifications including Security+ and IAT Level II. Personnel assigned to operations support desk roles are designated Mission Essential. The government will employ a commercially-provided Platform-as-a-Service environment with associated commercial tools. The anticipated contract period is five years. Pricing approach remains under consideration between Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials; no ceiling value or specific annual level-of-effort target has been established. Award is anticipated by September 2027. RFI responses (5 single-sided pages maximum, Microsoft Word or PDF format) address 14 questions covering management experience, technical capabilities, and functional support expertise. Submit to mikayla.sequeira@us.af.mil and venezia.delgadillo@us.af.mil by 5:00 PM ET September 30, 2026.
