About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Education seeks purchase and installation of 260 residential wardrobe closets at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with quotes due August 6. The procurement is 100% set-aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises under the Buy Indian Act.
Place of performance is Albuquerque, New Mexico. The contract is Firm Fixed Price with a performance period of approximately 150 calendar days from contract issuance. The specified unit is a DGNAR-205S 2-door wardrobe closet (36 inches wide × 24 inches deep × 72 inches high) with Case Good Finish F038, clothing rod, door handle, and door lock. Closets will be installed across two residential dormitories—Four Winds Lodge and Golden Eagle Lodge—with each dormitory room receiving two units and wellness rooms receiving four units.
Contractor scope includes shipping, delivery, complete installation (unloading, uncrating, placement), removal and proper disposal of existing wardrobes in compliance with New Mexico law, daily waste removal, staff training on closet operation, and provision of a two-year manufacturer-comparable warranty. All contractor personnel must be escorted by SIPI staff while on campus. Installation must adhere to manufacturer guidelines with all doors and moving parts operating smoothly.
Quotes must be firm fixed price and all-inclusive, covering wardrobe closets, freight, labor for installation and removal, and applicable taxes or fees. Submission is electronic to jeff.morris@bie.edu by 2:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, evaluated on technical capability (specifications and delivery schedule), past performance, and price. NAICS code is 337215 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Offerors must submit DIAR Provision 1452.280-4 and Attachments 2 and 3 (IEE Representation Form and supplement) with proposals, certifying IEE status at offer, award, and throughout contract performance.
