About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking proposals for the procurement of the AN/ALQ-161 RF Common Module (Band 7), a sophisticated signal processing unit capable of handling multiple RF signal inputs, splitting and switching paired outputs into dual RF outputs while providing concurrent video detection. This equipment carries NSN 5895-01-174-5742 and part number 435346-1, and will be acquired through a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Requirements Contract spanning five years with five one-year ordering periods. Offerors must be registered in the Enhanced Joint Certification Program (EJCP) to access the Technical Data Package, and interested parties must provide their CAGE number to the points of contact Todd Stimus and Victor Henderson to obtain technical specifications. The solicitation includes a First Article testing requirement where two initial units will undergo evaluation at Robins Air Force Base using specialized REW/DAAE test stations. According to the amendment, proposals are due by July 15, 2025, with an original deadline extension from June 30, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334515 with a size standard of 750 employees, as the government has identified more than two qualified small businesses capable of performing the requirement. The contract structure includes a Basic Ordering Period for 2 first article units, followed by Ordering Period 1 (20 units), Ordering Period 2 (6 units), Ordering Period 3 (5 units), Ordering Period 4 (5 units), and Ordering Period 5 (6 units), totaling 44 units across all periods. Performance will take place in Warner Robins, Georgia, with delivery to DLA Distribution Warner Robins at Robins Air Force Base. Delivery timeframes range from 120 to 180 calendar days after contract award, and the contract includes multiple Contract Data Requirements Lists covering items such as Counterfeit Prevention Plans, Test Procedures, and Item Unique Identification Marking Plans. While no specific contract value is disclosed in the available documentation, the pricing matrix indicates this is structured as a requirements contract with quantities subject to government needs during each ordering period.
