PART I - THE SCHEDULE

SECTION B

SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS

The required quantity is not known at this time. The quantities reflected in the Schedule and Pricing Matrix represent the Government’s Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) based on the actual history and projected requirements. These BEQs do not represent a minimum or a maximum quantity. Failure of the Government to order the BEQ quantity shall not entitle the contractor to an equitable adjustment in price under the contract.

: The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Requirements Contract for the supplies specified herein. The total period of performance for the Indefinite Delivery/Requirements Contract will not exceed five (5) years and the resultant contract will have five (5) one (1) year ordering periods.

: Pricing periods will be established under a “Pricing Matrix”, included under Section J – List of Attachments, identifying kinds, quantities and unit prices for the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for the fiveyear ordering periods. CLINs within the solicitation may contain quantity ranges but are not limited to the quantity breakouts. Unit prices for quantity ranges should be established based on the "most economical range" falling in the particular quantity range and under the appropriate Pricing Period. The purpose of the Pricing Matrix is to be the Ordering Menu for all orders placed/issued over the life of the contract. All pricing information shall be submitted on the attached Pricing Matrix. Additional instructions can be found within that document.

The CLIN structure associated with the RFP contains an X in the first position (X001). Each order shall remove the X and replace with a firm numeral corresponding to the applicable Ordering Period year as shown below:

000X – BASIC ORDERING PERIOD – Date of award through 12 months 100X – ORDERING PERIOD I – 13 months through 24 months 200X – ORDERING PERIOD II – 25 months through 36 months 300X – ORDERING PERIOD III – 37 months through 48 months 400X – ORDERING PERIOD IV – 49 months through 60 months

Period of Contract Performance will begin upon date of basic contract award announcement.

Specific dates shall be established subsequent to contract award.

Transportation of items delivered hereunder shall be in accordance with DD Form 1653 attached to each delivery order issued hereunder. The Transportation Account Code (TAC) will be provided if applicable.

Items delivered hereunder shall be packaged in accordance with AFMC Form 158 attached to each delivery order issued hereunder.

A First Article(s) is required for this effort. See First Article Form, AFMC Form 260 attached in Section J, Attachments, of the Request for Proposal (RFP), SPRWA125R0007.
