About this opportunity
The Air Force Research Laboratory's In Space Propulsion Branch is seeking information about Epsilon 3 cloud-based digital test procedure software through a Request for Information (RFI). The opportunity, posted by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center, aims to identify vendors capable of providing a sophisticated software solution for supporting on-site testing, experiment documentation, and collaborative test procedure management. The RFI requires vendors to submit a capabilities statement identifying which Epsilon 3 software they can provide, with responses limited to 10 double-spaced pages and submitted via email to Ms. Malika Jackson by May 7, 2025. Potential respondents should note that this is an information-gathering exercise only, and no quotes or proposals are being solicited at this time. Questions regarding the RFI must be submitted in writing by email, with verbal inquiries not being accepted.
The RFI does not specify a set-aside designation and is seeking ten software seats with comprehensive features including workflow automation, AI procedure import, test management, risk assessment, and advanced analytics capabilities. While no specific award value is mentioned, the software must meet stringent mission-critical requirements, emphasizing perfect quality and accuracy to prevent potential mission schedule disruptions. The software needs to provide capabilities such as collaborative editing, digital record-keeping, experiment repositories, and the ability to track and approve procedure modifications. Deployment requirements include cloud-based functionality with options for on-premises implementation, single sign-on, API integrations, and compliance with Department of Defense security standards. The solution must support advanced features like real-time data monitoring, hardware tracking, and comprehensive archival systems while maintaining robust security protocols.
