About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify sources of domestic electromyographs, with responses due October 2, 2026. DLA's stated priority is identifying products that qualify as "Domestic End Product" under DFARS 225.003, meaning qualifying country components and U.S.-mined, produced, or manufactured components must exceed 65 percent of total component cost. No set-aside applies to this market research effort.

Respondents must provide completed spreadsheets detailing electromyograph product lines with commercial part numbers and component sourcing breakdowns to verify domestic content compliance. DLA estimates an annual requirement of 13 case carts of electromyograph equipment. Companies must identify whether offered products are COTS items and calculate the percentage cost of U.S. components within total component cost, accounting for manufacturing, transportation, and overhead costs. Respondents must confirm capacity to begin supplying products within 60 days of contract award or propose an alternative timeframe.

Interested firms should be classified under NAICS 334510 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) and must provide manufacturer commitment letters if they are not the manufacturer. The anticipated contract structure consists of a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods. Submissions directed to Evan Lessin at Evan.Lessin@dla.mil. This RFI carries no guarantee that a formal solicitation will be issued or that all products referenced would be included in any subsequent procurement action. Respondents bear their own preparation expenses.
