About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State is soliciting quotations for the procurement of a Ford Tourneo Custom Titanium 320 L2 H1 2.0 EcoBlue passenger vehicle with specific technical and safety features, including an 8-gear automatic transmission, 8-passenger seating capacity, advanced driver assistance systems, and premium comfort amenities such as heated seats and a 13-inch SYNC4 touchscreen. The solicitation permits brand name or equal submissions as outlined in FAR 52.211-6, allowing vendors to propose equivalent vehicles that meet the specified requirements. Key contract requirements include that vendors must submit duty- and tax-free quotations that encompass shipping costs, registration fees, and warranty details, with the vehicle required to meet or exceed EU and Danish road worthiness standards. The procurement will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract; however, the solicitation does not explicitly state specific evaluation criteria beyond regulatory compliance. The deadline for submitting quotations is February 13, 2026, with the solicitation having been posted on January 27, 2026.

This procurement is not designated as a set-aside contract for any specific entity category. No incumbent contractor or current service provider is identified in the solicitation notice, and no specific award value or budget range is disclosed. The solicitation calls for the procurement of a single vehicle unit to be delivered to the U.S. Embassy located in Copenhagen, Denmark (2100 København Ø). The place of performance is Denmark, and vendors must ensure that the vehicle complies with European Union regulatory standards rather than U.S. standards, with particular attention to lighting specifications, emissions requirements, and metric measurement systems standard in European markets. The procurement is classified under NAICS Code 33611 (Automobile and Light Duty Motor Vehicle Manufacturing) and PSC Code 2310 (Passenger Motor Vehicles).

In contrast, Danish vehicles adhere to European Union regulations, featuring E-marked lighting with rear fog lights and metric odometers in kilometers.
