About this opportunity

Army Contracting Command seeks replacement of nineteen folding industrial bay doors at Building 93203, Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany, with quotes due August 24, 2026. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses and is a firm fixed-price commercial supply contract awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable quoter.

Place of performance is Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany (Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern). The requirement consists of eight base doors and eleven option doors. All doors must be manual-operated, horizontally folding industrial systems with minimum 24-gauge galvanized steel exterior panels, factory-applied off-white finish, and certification to withstand 90 MPH wind loads (Class 3). Four large doors and two small doors require integrated egress doors with commercial panic exit hardware. The system must operate reliably between -30°C to +50°C, resist UV degradation and corrosion, and enable proper HVAC and safety sensor activation. Quoters must provide evidence of prior procurement history with similar products sold in Germany within the past five years, demonstrated ability to manage projects of similar scope within foreign regulatory environments, and identification of specific German building codes and DIN standards (such as DIN EN 12453 and DIN EN 12604) with manufacturer technical data sheets proving compliance. Subcontractor experience does not substitute for prime contractor experience. Delivery is required no later than twenty weeks after contract award for base items and twenty weeks after option exercise for optional items, with all eleven options exercisable within two years of award. Warranty is designated a Key Performance Parameter: ten years for structural panels, three years for hardware and moving components, two years for electrical/safety components, and one year for installation workmanship. All shipping, installation, waste removal, training for up to five government personnel, and maintenance manuals are included in pricing. FOB Destination applies; quoters must exclude German VAT and custom duties where U.S. Government tax relief is applicable under DFARS 252.229-7001, Alternate I. NAICS 332321; PSC 5670.
