The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Bliss, Texas is issuing a construction solicitation W911SG-21-B-0014, in support of the United States Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico.
General Information: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, performance/payment bonds and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. The project consists of reconstructing the existing roadway, road shoulders, removal and replacement of culverts, installation of new Hazard Identification Beacons, installation of new traffic signs and pavement markings on Range Road (RR) 6 Section 3 at WSMR, NM. Procurement will be solicited as one hundred percent (100%) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated period of performance is 168 calendar days after contract award has been issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 (Size Standard $39.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

*NOTE: There are roadblocks scheduled on 9 August 2021 that may affect your ability to arrive to the site visit on time if travelling via Highway 70. ALL CONTRACTORS SHALL PLAN ACCORDINGLY. The roadblocks will be at Highway 70, at San Augustine pass and White Sands National Park. The block will be at 0540 hrs for 1 hour, and again at 0730 hrs for 1 hour.*
