About this opportunity
The U.S. Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing repair services and extended support for SEM/EDX JetSCAN equipment and instruments. The contractor will be required to provide diagnostic support, restore equipment performance, and perform preventative maintenance, with two levels of support - Level I telephone/email support and Level III on-site/off-site repair. The contractor must also maintain the JetSCAN manual and provide yearly training courses. The government will provide a Level A spares kit, access to government installations, and transportation/accommodations as necessary. Performance objectives and thresholds are defined, with the government exercising surveillance over the contractor's performance.
This is not a solicitation, and no contract award will be made based on the responses received. The government is seeking information to determine if this effort can be competed or set aside for small businesses. The expected quantity of equipment to be serviced is 43 units, and the contract is expected to be a one-year base period with a priced option period. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, including through joint ventures or teaming arrangements. Responses are due by June 14, 2024.
