About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for the repair of Electronic Guidance Indicators (EGI) for HC-130J aircraft components. This is an unrestricted competitive procurement seeking repair services from qualified contractors who are either FAA, OEM, or DoD Certified Repair Facilities. The solicitation (RFQ 70Z03825QH0000074) will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis, with the evaluation criteria focused on the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. Quotations are due by June 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, with an anticipated award date of June 11, 2025. Contractors must provide comprehensive documentation including airworthiness certification and quality control documentation, and must comply with various federal acquisition regulations and technical specifications.
The solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category and has a small business size standard of $40,000,000. The USCG intends to initially purchase three EGI units (NSN: 6605-01-615-5547, Part Number: 34209200-W0S5-001), with an option to increase the quantity to six units within 365 days of the initial award at the same unit price. Quotations should be submitted via email to Angela.L.Watts@uscg.mil and D05-SMB-LRS-Procurement@uscg.mil. The work will be performed in accordance with the provided Statement of Work, which requires restoring components to airworthy condition and maintaining detailed tracking through the Asset Computerized Maintenance System. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the procurement supports the USCG's maritime missions, including international ice patrol, marine environmental protection, and law enforcement by maintaining aircraft component inventory and operational readiness.
