About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center is conducting market research to identify repair and overhaul sources for actuators and ballscrews, with responses due by November 2, 2026. This is a sources sought synopsis, not a solicitation, and does not obligate the government to award a contract.

The USCG operates 18 HC-144 and 14 HC-27J Maritime Patrol Aircraft used for search and rescue, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. These aircraft operate at lower altitudes and in salt-laden environments that accelerate corrosion on airframe structures, engines, and components. All components are originally manufactured by Moog Wolverhampton Limited and must be repaired and overhauled in accordance with OEM specifications, including the latest OEM revisions, updates, and service bulletins.

The USCG conducts inspections using the Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) and periodic maintenance requirements established by the OEM. Interested vendors should submit responses including company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, and details on company quality systems. No set-aside applies to this procurement.
