About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force is preparing to solicit an established video game wholesaler to supply monthly box kits to the DAF Library Program at remote and isolated locations, with sources-sought responses due by June 5, 2026 at 4:00 PM CDT and anticipated base performance from September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2027 plus three optional one-year periods.
The procurement is not set-aside. Deliveries will ship via U.S. Postal Service to 20 remote APO addresses in New York or San Francisco, with each monthly kit containing 6 new release or high-demand video game titles across Xbox One, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch formats—1,440 games annually total with no title duplication across 12 monthly shipments. The Government seeks a vendor already operating in the library or commercial marketplace; no custom website development is required.
The vendor must provide a commercially available multi-tier web-based purchasing platform with unique DAF Libraries logins, pre-release title lists, monthly suggested order carts, game information (reviews, release dates, pricing, covers, descriptions), and a dedicated customer service representative. Pricing will be firm-fixed and include shipping. Defective items must be replaced at no cost within a 30+ day return window. No technical processing is required.
Responses must address business classification under NAICS 339930 (700-employee size standard), contact information, socioeconomic status, CAGE Code/UEI, and capabilities statement. The Government will use responses to determine whether to proceed with full and open competition or a small business set-aside. A formal solicitation may follow using FAR 12.603 combined synopsis/solicitation procedures. A Q&A document was posted on May 15, 2026.
