About this opportunity
The Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) through the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood is seeking to lease three modular trailers to support high-energy laser and mobile counter-UAS capability testing. The procurement includes one single-wide command post trailer (12x60 feet) and two double-wide trailers (24x60 feet each) configured as a conference room and classroom, all fully furnished with office equipment, furniture, appliances, heating and air conditioning, and external electrical connections for generator hookups. The contract structure consists of an initial 12-month lease with options for up to four additional years, providing flexibility to adjust the number of trailers as mission requirements change. Amendment 1 updated the NAICS code from 333924 to 531120 and extended the response deadline from September 17, 2025, to September 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM MDT. Critical delivery timelines require the single-wide trailer to be in place by October 9, 2025, for testing beginning October 14, 2025, while the two double-wide units must be installed by November 14, 2025.
The solicitation was originally designated as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, though the current posting indicates "No Set-Aside Used," suggesting this designation may have changed through the amendment process. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the documentation, and specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in the available materials. The contract will support testing operations designated as an Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Priority-1 effort expected to continue for up to five years beginning in Q1 FY26. Performance will occur at Dugway, Utah, specifically supporting the White Sands Missile Range testing mission through the Western Desert Test Center (WDTC), which will provide generators for the trailers' electrical power needs. The Department of Public Works will handle utility connections, while the contractor must provide complete delivery, setup, and anchoring services for all three trailer units.
