About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard seeks repair and overhaul of Raymarine maritime display, sonar, and navigation equipment via a brand-name sole-source award to GEODESICX, INC., with quotes due September 12. The procurement is restricted to one brand under FAR 12.102(a) and Class Deviation 25-21 Rev. 1 because no other equipment will integrate with the Coast Guard's existing approved and configured electronic system; use of alternatives would leave assets in Not Mission Capable status.
Place of performance is Curtis Bay Industrial Area, Baltimore, Maryland, with an estimated total value of $306,761.58. The scope covers four line items totaling 665 units: 47 Display Units (E70265-S2, NSN 7025-01-668-5174), 39 CP370 sonar depth units (E70297, NSN 5845-01-652-3472), 311 Radomes (E92143, NSN 5985-01-618-9609), and 268 AIS5000 Transponders (A80601, NSN 5825-01-679-3558). All work must be completed within three months of award, with an estimated performance date of October 19, 2026.
The contractor must inspect, repair, and overhaul items to restore them to serviceable condition per original Raymarine specifications and standards using Raymarine-approved procedures, parts, and technical data. The contractor must submit repair estimates before work commences, conduct standard production tests and inspections upon completion, and provide written certification. All items must be individually preserved, packaged, and marked with NSN, part number, serial number, condition code, and repair date. Award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis under FAR 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) using best value criteria, weighing technical requirement compliance, deadline adherence, and price. Past performance is evaluated only for responsibility determination. Quotes must be submitted to Erica.L.Perry@uscg.mil by September 10 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. NAICS 334511; PSC 6605.
