About this file
This is a Statement of Work for Raymarine Overhaul Services to be performed for the U.S. Coast Guard by GEODESICX, INC. The contract period of performance is three months upon award. The contractor is responsible for inspecting, repairing as needed, and overhauling Raymarine equipment items identified by contract line item number (CLIN) to restore them to serviceable condition consistent with original operating and performance characteristics.
The contractor must conduct preliminary inspections upon receipt and submit repair estimates to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer or Technical Representative, including the National Stock Number, serial number, part number, replacement parts with unit prices, labor rates, estimated labor hours, and total estimated price. All overhaul work must comply with original equipment manufacturer Raymarine specifications and standards using Raymarine-approved procedures, parts, and technical data. Upon completion, the contractor must perform all standard production tests and inspections and provide written certification of successful completion. Each overhauled item must be individually preserved and packaged to prevent damage, deterioration, and contamination during storage, handling, and shipment, with each container clearly marked with item name, NSN, part number, serial number, government order number, date of repair, condition code (A for serviceable items or H for non-repairable items), and unit of issue. Final acceptance occurs at destination by an authorized Government Representative and is contingent upon verification of proper shipment condition, order accuracy and completeness, and contractor compliance with all preservation, packaging, packing, and marking requirements.
