The procurement involves acquiring Juniper networking equipment, including 2 SRX1500 routers, 2 EX4000 L3 switches, and 2 EX2300 L3 switches, with installation and system programming requirements. The primary objective is to upgrade the radio system backhaul and edge equipment from TDM circuits to Ethernet, ensuring continuous 24/7 operations and increased mission readiness for first responders. Potential vendors are asked to provide a capabilities statement addressing specific questions about router compatibility with the existing Motorola system, warranty details, and approved resellers. Responses must be submitted via email to Anthony Graffeo and Matthew Hagan by 4 PM MST on April 18, 2024, with the Sources Sought Identification Number included in the subject line.
The contract is set aside for total small business participation, with a potential sole-source consideration to Motorola Solutions. The equipment must be TAA-compliant and fully integrated with the existing Motorola Public Safety radio network. Delivery and installation are time-sensitive, with equipment required to be delivered by August 18, 2025, and fully operational prior to August 25, 2025. Contractors must be capable of passing base access background checks and provide continuous fault and alarm monitoring. While specific award value is not disclosed, the procurement involves networking equipment and installation services within the Computer Related Services (NAICS 541519) and IT and Telecom support categories. Vendors must include their company name, address, point of contact, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number in their response.
