About this file

This Statement of Objectives (SOO) details a network upgrade for the Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Trunking System, issued by the US Space Force. The upgrade requires procuring and installing Juniper networking equipment, specifically 2 SRX1500 routers, 2 EX4000 L3 switches with 24 ports, and 2 EX2300 L3 switches with 24 ports, along with necessary connectors and system programming. Key specifications include TAA-compliance, seamless integration with the existing Motorola Public Safety radio network, compatibility with the USLAUSCO DAF LMR system, and installation by a contractor team capable of passing base access background checks. The equipment must be delivered by August 18th, 2025, and go live prior to August 25th, 2025, with a full warranty and continuous fault and alarm monitoring. The primary objective is to upgrade the radio system backhaul and edge equipment from TDM circuits to Ethernet, ensuring 24/7 operations and increased mission readiness for first responders.
