About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires a clinical portal of medical information to provide its Veterans Health Administration healthcare system with continued access to medical journals and scholarly materials. The agency seeks an existing commercial, web-based solution to support the Network Library, VACO Library, and approximately 153 VA medical centers. Evaluation will consider technical approach, past performance, and price based on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis. Proposals are due by August 5, 2022.
There is no set-aside designation. The requirement involves continued use of an existing subscription previously delivered under NAICS code 511210. As an incumbent contractor was not named, the current subscription provider is unknown. The place of performance encompasses delivery of online access across the VA healthcare system for an initial nine-month base period and four one-year options, potentially valued at $5 million over five years.
