About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) North Texas Health Care System is seeking a contractor to provide Pharmacy Courier Services for its healthcare operations. The procurement will involve delivering pharmacy-related materials and medications, with the solicitation anticipated to be released on May 9, 2025, and proposals due by May 27, 2025. The VA will conduct a comparative evaluation under FAR 13.106-2(b)(3) and plans to award a single fixed-price contract to a qualified vendor. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and can submit questions directly to Contracting Officer Robyn Nussbaum via email. The contract will utilize NAICS code 492110 for Couriers and Express Delivery Services, with a corresponding Product Service Code of R602 for administrative support courier services.
The solicitation is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), which restricts competition to eligible vendors meeting that designation. The performance location will be at the VA facility located at 4500 S Lancaster Rd in Dallas, Texas. While specific award values were not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract appears focused on establishing a courier service to support the VA North Texas Health Care System's pharmacy operations. Contractors interested in competing must carefully review the full solicitation when it becomes available on SAM.gov and ensure they meet all registration and qualification requirements. The VA emphasizes that no hard copies of the solicitation will be provided, and all communication and document exchange will occur electronically through the specified channels.
